I earned my graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Counseling with a concentration in addictions. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary in Urban Christian Ministries, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. Areas of treatment include anxiety, stress, addiction, depression, grief & loss, and life challenges. My treatment approaches are evidence-based and include Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). I am trained in Brainspotting and have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
I enjoy listening to my clients needs and assisting them in making new discoveries about themselves. I believe that empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard is the foundation on which to build a therapeutic relationship upon.
