I am currently accepting new clients for Web-based counseling sessions. In order to effect real and meaningful changes in ourselves we have to go deeper than just talking about what's wrong. Neuroscience tells us that over 80% of what we do, think, and feel, is out of our conscious awareness. This is why I use core-level modalities such as Hakomi, EMDR and Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy. These methods employ a mindfulness and somatic (body-centered) focus which help us go deeper than our story. I will also coach you to practice mindfulness in your life which is essential in putting your sessions to work in your life.
I work with Individuals and couples. My warm and approachable style creates the necessary container to help clients go inside themselves and to heal the parts of themselves which are causing so much pain and dysfunction. You are not broken, you do not need "fixing." You hold the keys to healing yourself.
Inside of you there is a being that is whole, healthy, and functional. You just need a guide to help you find that part of you; someone who has also been in the client seat and understands what it's like. I'm skilled, I'm compassionate, Let me help.
