About
Whether you are 5, 18, 35 or 85, there are sometimes obstacles that get in the way to living our lives to the fullest. My job is to help you change patterns of thinking and behavior and that are preventing you from living according to your full potential. I have over twelve years of clinical experience working with individuals and families who are dealing with a variety of mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, trauma, Mood Disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, sexual abuse and substance abuse. I have over eight years experience specifically working with children and adolescents.
I firmly believe that we all have the capability to remove the roadblocks that get in the way. This belief is supported by over 12 years of experience in the field and witnessing children, families and adults make positive changes in their lives.
I approach my work with compassion, energy and caring. My practice incorporates the philosophy of mindfulness and present-time awareness. I utilize a narrative and cognitive approach that serves to empower and assist clients to take responsibility for shaping, molding and creating their lives.
