I created Lioncrest Counseling to help others with finding their way to a healthy and balanced life. I enjoy working with individuals, adolescents, couples and families using Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy(DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), experiential, strengths-based and positive psychotherapy. I help clients with depression, anxiety, addiction, attachment issues, trauma, mood disregulation, grief and loss, and oppositional defiance. I am passionate about identifying needs and have a creative hands-on approach– using music, art and acting to help people work through their feeling and issues.
I use Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples and individuals overcome negative interactional cycles. I use music and other hands on tools to work through issues and I believe in the Wellness Model of viewing people as having strengths to tap into. I use a client-centered Therapy approach and use a systems theory to view family dynamic conflicts.
I am passionate about identifying needs, empowering people, and helping individuals achieve personal goals through therapeutic strategies and interventions.
