Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

You will get the benefit of a therapist who has over 30 years experience but who still enjoys the challenge of helping every client explore their issues and find the right solutions and strategies for accomplishing them. I am extremely sensitive to diversity and multi-cultural issues, have dealt with clients from many ethnic groups and speak excellent Spanish. I am accepting clients for weekend retreats and in person clients between the hours of 1pm-3pm Monday -Thursday. I have several years of experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. My specialty is providing treatment of anger problems, PTSD, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. My approach is client centered. I draw from several different theoretical models, but my focus is on developing a therapeutic relationship that connects clients to their inner strength and hones their ability to adapt.

I specialize in counseling teens and adults to help overcome past trauma and current challenges with depression and anxiety. Focus tends to be placed on processing trauma in a safe and evidence based manner, enhancing self-awareness, creating insight, and building confidence.
