In addition to in office sessions,I am currently using securely encrypted video conferencing, so am able to serve clients in all of Georgia.

Hello and welcome! I'm Sierra. I'm a queer, anti-racist Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Atlanta, Georgia. I started my career as a therapist at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and if there is one thing I learned from that time it's that, more often than not, it's not you- it's the system. Since then I have been helping fellow women and members of the LGBTQ+ community rebuild self-esteem, manage anxiety, and heal unresolved trauma. I also help families of LGBTQ+ youth gain understanding about their child's experience and empower them to provide the best support they can.

I enjoy working with folks who are expanding their definition of who they are as a person. Personal growth work is meaningful work. I believe the majority of clients I have worked with throughout the years have a very limited opinion of themselves. I want to assist people to move forward in their lives and enjoy the journey! My studies at the Chopra Center with Dr. Chopra, Dr. David Simon and Davidji have expanded my own awareness on how wonderful this life experience can be. Yes, we have bumps in the road but the obstacles do not have to define us. I have studied with Dr. Brian Weiss and I am trained in IMAGO therapy, hypnosis.

There was a time in life when asking for help was the hardest thing to do. To be honest, even as a professional counselor, asking for help is sometimes still hard. But it is easier to overcome. Depression and Anxiety is the most hidden illness among African American women today. Our culture teaches us that it is weak to ask for help and gaining a badge of honor means sacrificing your mental well being so that other can be happy.
