Pornography, sexting, infidelity, and sexual behavior problems can be devastating to the person involved and rippling out into family, friends, careers, etc. You are not alone. My approach to therapy is holistic in nature. What affects our minds, affects our emotions, our bodies, our spiritual self, and our relationships with others. I follow the premise that we as human beings are whole at our core. Due to life experiences, we learn to "disown" the parts of ourselves that we do not like. To aid in this process of becoming whole again, I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Jungian theory. As you become whole again, you grow. As you grow, you become wiser and better able to handle the challenges of life.

We all go through times of sef-doubt, depression and anxiety. Life change can amplify these. I believe all feelings are valid, because we are feeling them. What we think about them can create a harmful or helpful situation. Being very present creates calm as we are in the situation as it happens rather than in the past or future thinking about what we did or will do. This practice strengthens relationships as well as offers personal insight and growth. My job as the therapist is to allow my clients a place to explore the space in their heads. I help clients accept and understand their emotions creating new behavior patterns.

My name is Mike and one of my biggest passions is providing mental health treatment to our veteran and first responders community. As a former firefighter, law enforcement officer and retired military, I truly understand the toll this life takes on an individual as well as their families.
