We all experience pain and search for healing. This can be overwhelming to us and we can experience a lack of control or hope for the future. Our relationship with ourselves is often impacted, hurt, and internalized through our unbearable experiences of early life relationships. This can leave us feeling isolated and fearful to engage fully in life and with others. We often create subconscious strategies for managing this pain in search of safety and meaning. As we grow, many of the ways that we learned to cope with what was once unbearable begin to feel burdensome and overwhelming and we find ourselves needing something new.

Healing Pathways Therapy Center provides a safe nurturing environment for adults, adolescents, and children to focus on relationship, well-being and mental health issues. We focus on topics such as life adjustment, depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, divorce, phobias, trauma, addictions, etc. We specialize in trauma and childhood attachment issues, working to resolve big or little traumas or negative experiences which tend to impede emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual growth. We focus on healing rather than just coping, by finding resolving underlaying issue rather than just putting a bandaid on symptoms.

My focus in therapy is on my clients deeper experiences that lie beneath the symptoms. I believe this creates lasting change and invites my clients to have more meaning in their lives. I am an optimist by nature and aim to provide a warm, non-shaming environment in order to explore past traumas, function better in the present, and work towards a better future.

If you find yourself stuck in the same unbreakable loop, perhaps you need new tools and unconditional support to change. Each client needs a different approach, but all clients need a confidential and judgment free zone if they are going to make real progress. I know that with trained guidance and support, you are capable of navigating any life challenge. Addiction? I will meet you where you are at and develop one on one plan back to health. I also work with non-neurotypical (ADHD, Bi-polarity, Learning Disordered) clients and enjoy helping all humans navigate faith and life transition. (LGBTQIA+ Clients)

We all know life can be overwhelming and full of challenges—I believe we all can benefit from a little help at times; someone who listens without judgment and encourages personal growth. I understand that taking care of yourself and your relationships is the most important thing you can do. I believe that people have an innate potential to grow and heal. I strive to pinpoint the issues and address them directly with clarity and compassion.

Are you experiencing stress, loneliness or emotional pain related to a major life change, a relationship crisis, or a struggle with anxiety or depression? I have over 16 years of experience working with people wrestling with these kinds of issues. I find great satisfaction in helping people navigate concerns related to spiritual questioning and transition. It is an honor to work with individuals healing from trauma or who are seeking relief from depression or anxiety. I find my work with couples who are having difficulty communicating, resolving conflict or repairing after betrayal very meaningful.

Asking for help can be complicated as it is often associated with weakness. Life is rare without challenges; the challenges can sometimes become overwhelming, stressful, and difficult to cope with. Occasionally, we feel powerless towards past trauma and life difficulties. This can cause us to feel anxious, confused, or hopeless. However, going through life’s challenges alone can increase stress and cause us to feel trapped.

As human beings, we all have an innate desire to give and receive love, as well as to feel a sense of belonging. When these basic needs are not met, we can experience a feeling of being lost and disconnected from the world around us. However, we have the power to overcome these challenges. By acknowledging that we are not alone in our struggles and by taking conscious steps towards leading an authentic and fulfilling life, we can restore our sense of purpose and inner peace. No matter how difficult our circumstances may seem, there is always hope for a brighter tomorrow.

We all deserve to feel happiness and joy, but things can get in the way; maybe you're experiencing some relationship difficulty, anxiety, depression, ADHD or trauma. Whatever the challenge, that's where therapy comes in.

I'm Becca Post, founder of Forward Healing Co. When you choose to heal, my team and I are here to help you heal forward. The old model of change accepted by most medical communities is cyclical in nature. You feel that something is wrong, you seek help, you feel better, you “graduate.” Then, something happens — you’re triggered, life changes, you “relapse” — and you seek help again. Therapy works…until it doesn’t. So I created a new model of change for my group therapy practice: the Forward Model of Change.

Jungian Therapists

How does Jungian therapy work?

Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.

How long does Jungian therapy last?

Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.

Is Jungian therapy effective?

According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.

Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?

Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
