I am a Christian counselor who provide counseling to children, adolescents, couples and families who experience personal difficulties that challenge their well-being. The services are provided face-to-face in a confidential and private office in a non-judgmental and well-ness enhancing atmosphere. Clear goals are agreed upon with the individual/s and mutual efforts are made to achieve these goals. Clients are encouraged to develop problem-solving, coping and self-care skills. The treatment approach varies based on presenting concern.
I integrate various approaches in the practice of counseling. These may include but are not limited to: Solution focused therapy, Systems therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. These approaches may be augmented by an eclectic use of strategies and techniques that have been known to work and that are best practices for the diagnosis under consideration.
I hold the client responsible for the goals that he/she establishes and expect commitment and compliance to assignments. At any point in treatment that the client is unwilling to comply with the treatment protocol, an appropriate referral is made and the counseling relationship is terminated.

Groups
Grief Support Group; Divorce Recovery Group; and P
Grief support groups are help with cohorts of 3-5 individuals and meet weekly for 6 week sessions. Divorce recovery groups are help with 3-4 individuals and meet weekly as needed. Parenting support groups are held weekly for 6 week sessions.
