Counseling may focus on identifying with parental roles; childhood experiences/traumas that may interfere with bonding; developing patience and flexibility to respond to changes; or being emotionally there for each other.
Sharona Stone, MEd, LCSW, DCH has dedicated 25+ years to helping new and expectant parents develop skills for creating an emotionally safe environment where they can share their thoughts and feelings.
