So, you are here, which means you are looking for a therapist or counselor that can actually help you. You have been struggling with your symptoms for so long that you don’t want to risk picking someone that is not going to understand you, much less help you find the relief you’ve wanted. My approach to counseling is what I call “skill-based.” I want to teach people the skills they need in order to handle situations on their own so that they never have to return to counseling for similar issues in the future. I utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR, Prepare/Enrich, and Christian counseling.
I know it can feel like a big step to call a counselor, but I’ll make it easy. We’ll spend 15-minutes on the phone, and I’ll let you know how or if I can help.
