Thank you for visiting this page. As a psychologist and human, my passions are suicide prevention through action, connection, and therapy. While I can work with most people, I provide services to people wrestling with thoughts of suicide or intent to hasten their death and do not readily work outside those parameters. I come to this work with a compassionate lens, training, and expertise in reducing suicide and treating trauma and cultural distress. Conversely, I am a suicide survivor, attempt survivor, and psychologist licensed to practice in California, Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming.
I value listening, respect, honesty, and integrity. I appreciate that you have lived a complex life that involves elements of culture. Culture permeates all aspects of our life, including our desire to seek help or assistance. Your decision to increase your health is the first step.
Culture is essential, and I appreciate that many clients will be of different ethnicities, genders, and sexuality. Therefore, I discuss these differences openly and ensure that crucial pieces of one’s identity are identified, nurtured, and respected. I also appreciate how challenging it can be to ask for help, and I will honor that by creating a safer space.
