My practice is called Transformations Psychological Services. I decided on this name for my practice because I believe that good psychotherapy has power beyond just alleviating symptoms. Good psychotherapy can help you truly transform your life. I also chose this name because I work with individuals throughout the lifespan, helping people traverse the many transitions from childhood through adulthood. My work is eclectic but based in a developmental understanding of human growth. In my practice, I work with children, families, and adults. I welcome individuals from a variety of backgrounds with a diversity of concerns.
I have worked with individuals with chronic mental health conditions, such as mood disorders, as well as individuals with life transition issues, such as adjustment after the end of a relationship or a loss. I also work with parents and children when the child is experiencing difficulties, such as behavioral concerns, mood difficulties, anxiety, or grief.
My clinical style is best described as integrative, borrowing from several theoretical perspectives. I strive to be collaborative in my approach, working together with my clients to find creative strategies that are a fit for their strengths, values, and personalities. My goal is to help you become your best self no matter what your life circumstances.
