I offer a safe and nonjudgemental space in which to speak freely on any topic. I will listen and engage with curiosity, sensitivity, and a genuine desire to discover your complex inner world and unique lived experience. As part of this process, we will explore your personal history and its reverberations through time. As you speak, I will listen closely for the unconscious and intervene to emphasize and reveal it. To facilitate this process, we will also investigate dreams/daydreams and bungled speech/actions. Together, we will work to uncover what hinders deeper wellbeing, and I will help you to navigate and integrate what emerges.
As a practitioner of psychoanalytic therapy, I work collaboratively with my clients to uncover the unconscious roots of their suffering and, in this way, facilitate its management, reduction, and release. With additional training in yoga, meditation, breathwork, and traditional Chinese medicine, I bring a holistic and integrative perspective.
My approach is most heavily inspired by Lacanian psychoanalysis and yogic philosophy. I work with adults, late adolescents, and couples at a frequency of 1 to 3 sessions per week.
