Announcement icon I am pleased to offer sessions by phone or Zoom. Emphasizing supporting parents to manage anxiety, kids, teens, adults and divorce.
Life's challenges are inevitable. Asking for help is your strength. Welcome to my practice! I am a licensed psychologist trained to work with children, teens, parents and adults. Healing starts with feeling connected. My warmth and easy going calm, create an atmosphere of comfort and openness. While encouraging self awareness, I respect and value the practical issues of life and incorporate them in my work. Listening, interacting, being supportive and solution oriented, characterize my style. I believe that people can strive toward increased fulfillment and happiness. Feeling listened to, validated and understood are essential ingredients for change and of course a little humor helps!
I have run a parenting program for many years. Parents discuss a range of topics in a group setting. Parenting in NYC has its own uniqueness, and understanding these influences is an important aspect of my work. I also support women on issues including; anxiety, depression, relationships, professional life, breast cancer, and divorce.
Divorce is an area of expertise for me. I am trained in collaborative divorce and work with families and individuals to navigate the challenges that arise during this transition. I focus on helping to co-parent effectively and educate in crucial areas. I help children to strengthen their coping skills and avoid unhealthy behavior.
