I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who treats adults seeking individual psychotherapy for a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationships, and loss. My approach is eclectic but is fundamentally psychodynamic.
My goal is to help patients gain insight into the root of the difficulties they are experiencing to find lasting change. Exploring one's past, and the emotions attached to the particular "story" patients tell themselves, about themselves, can lead to insight that allows new narratives, and new ways to experience and process current difficulties.
I work collaboratively with compassion and empathy and strive to create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.
