Hello! My name is Julie Williams, LCSW-S. I am a seasoned mental health professional with 20 years’ experience. Helping you achieve your optimal health is my goal. To me, this means first and foremost, your emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing are my highest priority. My practice involves, but is not limited to, providing psychotherapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, panic disorder, grief, and those with a history of trauma.
As a trained professional in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), I view all mental health issues from a holistic perspective, exploring the connections of mind and body. EMDR is an evidenced based treatment to help access the overwhelm associated with traumatic events. My approach is integrative, collaborative and rooted in neuroscience.
Depression, anxiety and panic surface as a type of “check engine light” in our bodies, to alert us that we have ignored our needs long enough. With this in mind, what we are not changing, we are choosing. If you are ready for a change, I am ready to accompany you towards your best self.
