I emphasize Health at Every Size, Intuitive Eating, body liberation, mindfulness practices, and Somatic Therapy. I believe in a collaborative, humanistic approach and try to instill a capacity for inner reflection, self-acceptance and growth. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an emphasis and certificate in Eating Disorders from Lewis & Clark College. I have extensive experience and knowledge working with Binge Eating, Anorexia and Bulimia. My theoretical orientations include Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment theory, EMDR, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
My mission has been to empower change by creating a holistic practice focusing on mental, physical, emotional and spiritual balance. I work specifically with Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 2), EMDR and IFS (Level 2 trained) to treat trauma and dissociation. I am also licensed in the state of Washington.
