Hi, I’m Julie! I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC-S) who enjoys supporting adults navigating challenges like depression, anxiety, life transitions, and adjustments. I've been practicing independently for 8+ years. I have a special heart for moms, especially those facing postpartum struggles or raising young children. What makes my practice unique is not just my professional training, but also my personal experience balancing parenthood and life’s ups and downs while managing mental health. This helps me connect with clients on a deeper level and offer coaching that really resonates.
I’m passionate about helping people find hope. I use trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) well as aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which are evidenced-based treatment models. My approach is warm, relaxed, and down-to-earth—offering a safe space where you feel heard and supported. I believe in honoring your own goals.
In our first session, we’ll do a diagnostic assessment where we’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, explore your background, and set goals to focus on in therapy. Many of my clients tell me they start feeling better within just a few sessions. We’ll move at your pace, making sure you feel comfortable and empowered every step of the way.
