People often carry early attachment wounds that inhibit joy and meaningful relationships. They long to be heard and understood, to be valued by others. They want to let go of the negative experiences and personal narrative, to feel a greater sense of purpose and connection in their life. Going it alone can be challenging… and lonely. Therapy can offer safety, compassion, connection and curiosity to support challenging aspects of their personal narrative that no longer work for them, to begin to let go and create the life they want, becoming their highest self. More joy is always possible through curiosity and connection!
Through the shared space of therapy, with connection and compassionate curiosity, I strive to understand the limiting personal narrative, the past burdens still carried and explore ways to heal those wounds and create a new sense of self, with purpose, meaning and joy. Being present, with active listening can help clients unburden the pain they carry.
Life IS hard. Experiencing the connection of sharing this with a compassionate listener, one can begin to imagine lightening the burdens and moving into a new sense of purpose and joy in life.
