New clients welcome! I have many options for appointment times. I have had the privilege to work with diverse populations, multiple faith-based traditions, multicultural clients, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. It takes courage to reach out and seek therapy. I honor that courage by providing compassionate, nonjudgmental, empathic listening and support establishing a safe place for clients to be able to share freely.
I specialize in Brainspotting, which is a powerful, brain-based trauma therapy that accesses the deepest regions of the brain where clients store their disturbing/traumatic experiences and survival terror. Trauma symptoms are notoriously difficult to eliminate through talk therapy because verbal engagement does not reach the brain region where they reside.
I believe in client resilience and using the strengths of the client to collaboratively team together to build the life they dream of living. I feel it takes so much courage to reach out for counseling. I honor that choice through building strong, empathic, nonjudgmental foundation on which to build a solid relationship with my clients.
