The human psyche has an innate drive towards repair and recovery, much like the human body. Just as a cut on your finger naturally closes and heals when it’s kept clean and protected, our minds and hearts, too, have a natural capacity for healing when given the right conditions. This concept is the foundation of my therapeutic approach, and the starting point for my work with clients.
I’ll begin by getting to know you and your history, motivations, challenges, values, and goals. From there, I’ll blend evidence-based treatment methods to help you develop and practice tools, resources, and coping strategies for fully-integrated mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
The goal is NOT to need endless years of therapy; the goal is to create a structure that can serve and sustain you outside of and beyond our sessions.
