There are times during our lives when we may benefit from talking with someone to explore our thoughts, emotions, and experiences related to transitions, trauma, loss, and other challenges. Often, thoughts, emotions, perceptions and environmental factors can interfere with our ability to reach our full potential. I view our work together as a shared journey toward your ideal self. I work to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your present experiences and work toward who you want to be. Together, we will work on clarifying your values and goals and help you move toward them in meaningful ways.
I specialize in working with adults (18+) experiencing depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, trauma and/or adjusting to life transitions, health concerns, and grief/loss. I utilize treatment modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Art Therapy, Self-Compassion and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Making the decision to pursue counseling is a big first step. Sometimes taking the next step to find a therapist that feels like a "good fit" for you may feel daunting. I encourage you to reach out- I'm here to help!
