I am a licensed social worker, a Certified Yoga Instructor and a Qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the most widely researched program known to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. It is an eight-week program that introduces you to mindfulness practice in the form of sitting meditation, body awareness and mindful movement/yoga. If you can't commit to an 8 week course, I also teach mindfulness meditation practice individually. Appropriate for teens and adults.

Mindfulness is as beneficial to well being as exercise, sleep and a healthy diet. In today's world where technology constantly grabs our attention, mindfulness is needed more than ever to give our brains time to just be. I am excited to help you integrate mindfulness into your daily life.

A mindfulness practice can be life changing and can enhance your relationships with others in the world. It teaches individuals to find space between stimulus and response, so they can pause long enough to choose how they want to respond rather than continuing to react destructively.
