Hello! Adulting can be really overwhelming sometimes. As an individual and couple's counselor, I help clients during various transitions in their lives who are dealing with challenges in their relationships, the road to parenthood, as well as grief and loss. I enjoy working with individuals and couples during the prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum time and all of the ups and downs that can bring both individually as well as within the relationship and family system. I also work with grief and loss in all forms which can include relationship changes and other unexpected obstacles that life sometimes throws in our way.
I listen, validate feelings, challenge you to inquire within, and help you to develop new understanding as well as practical coping tools to make the growing pains easier. I offer both practical suggestions and questions and curiosity to help you look deeper at behavioral patterns you are either not yet aware of, or unsure how to change.
I use a client-centered, attachment-based, non-judgmental but direct style to help you get unstuck and live more fully and presently. I use humor in sessions, as appropriate, and feel strongly that you are the expert in your own life.
