I'm so glad you're reading this now. You've taken the first step. The search for 'the right therapist' is nerve-wracking. I'm honored that you're considering me. I am a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) with experience treating a wide range of emotional challenges. Encompassing my work is the strong belief that the therapeutic process is creative and mutual and is most effective in a warm and safe environment with a highly empathic, interested and engaged clinician. Each client brings their own, unique story that I look forward to hearing, without judgement, because I am genuinely interested in helping.
Natural reactions like anger, anxiety, sadness or confusion, shaped by our past and present experiences, can become very overwhelming; leading us to feel stuck in a cycle or an unhelpful, unintentional pattern. The situation isn't the problem, its our perception or in other words, it's the lens through which we (unknowingly choose) SEE it.
If we are willing to shift, changing our perspective, we open ourselves up to possibilities we didn't know.
