About
The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important relationships we create. I believe that all individuals can effect change in their lives, and that my role as therapist is to empower my clients to lead more fulfilling and happier lives. Through a collaborative relationship, I help my clients envision the lives they want to lead and reach their goals in a safe, compassionate and supportive environment. I specialize in helping clients move through life transitions such as marriage, separation/divorce, changing lifestyles and family structures, illness, relationship conflict, career changes, retirement and grief and loss.
As both a marriage and family therapist and former family law attorney, I bring a distinctive set of skills in working with individuals, couples and familes. Some common issues that I assist clients with are: depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, trauma, grief and loss, stress, self esteem and self empowerment. I am also a certified grief specialist.
“Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.” - Andy Rooney. My goal as your therapist isn’t to tell you how to get to the top of the mountain but to guide you on your journey there. Please reach out for a free consultation or appointment if you feel that I can assist you on your journey.
