Announcement icon I am currently accepting new Telehealth clients for both therapy (Colorado, Oregon & Washington are) and coaching (US & abroad).
Transitions in middle and later life are not always anticipated. You may feel overwhelming stress coping with physical and mental health, family conflict or traumatic events. Common emotions include hopelessness, anxiety, isolation, depression, anger, guilt, grief and loss. Perhaps you may feel overrun by the needs of aging parents and younger children. Maybe you are a provider feeling preoccupied, anxious, depressed, irritable, cynical - facing compassion fatigue or burnout. Together, we navigate transitions by building understanding and coping strategies while striving for connection, peace and a sense of self.
I specialize in trauma-informed care for teens. older adults and their families as well as professionals supporting these populations. Support is often sought to address life transitions; relationship changes; stress; anxiety; depression; harmful behaviors and thoughts; traumatic events; loss and grief; compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma.
I work through the lens of “what happened to you,” rather than “what’s wrong with you.” In short, I see you first, then your concerns. I value both verbal communication and non-verbal expression to holistically approach your concerns. I have a collaborative, culturally competent approach, offering deep presence, experience, and genuine compassion.
