My style of counseling is focused on self-exploration and increasing an individual's level of understanding around their current life circumstances, as well as their behaviors and reactions to those circumstances. Through the development of a safe and nurturing relationship, together we can diminish self-destructive behaviors and patterns, strengthen relationships and build confidence.
I work with female identified adults who are experiencing a variety of issues such as relationship changes, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, body image, self-concept, adjustment, trauma and overwhelming emotions. Specializing in treating anxiety, depression, SPMI (serious and persistent mental illness) and anger management.
Trained in DBT, I can assist clients with working on distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
