"Your past is not your potential. In any hour, you can choose to liberate the future" -- Marilyn Ferguson. Hello and welcome to my somatic psychotherapy practice. Both personally and professionally, I have learned the value of incorporating all aspects of the self - thoughts, feelings and the physical body - when addressing the suffering of human beings. My approach to healing is focused on the different ways we experience our lives (including cognition, emotion, five-sense perception, movement and sensation).
By including all of these levels of experience, we work together to identify what beliefs and behaviors have helped you to make it through many challenging experiences but are less adaptive in your life today. We then explore new and different strategies for managing difficult life circumstances.
The psychotherapeutic relationship is unique and requires great care. I work diligently to meet you where you are at, so you can find your own pathway to healing. Let's work together and learn how to slowly transform those life-long patterns which are getting in the way of a more contented life for you.
