I'm so glad you're here! I have always had a desire to serve others and to walk alongside them in their highs and lows. I'm here to celebrate the good things, work through dark times, and meet you wherever you're at that day. I specialize in working with children/parents/foster parents in the child welfare system. I have experience supporting moms on their journey through pregnancy and postpartum. Additionally, I have experience working in a psychiatric hospital and can support individuals with navigating their mental health needs. I also have a history of working with older adults living with neurocognitive disorders.
I attended Grand Valley State University for both my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (Minoring in Psychology, with a Child Welfare Certificate) and Master's Degree in Social Work. I have experience working in the child welfare system, individual and group therapy with both children and adults, and clinical social work in a psychiatric hospital.
I provide a safe space for all individuals. My approach is calm & empathetic, but I'm also going to encourage you to achieve your goals. I am confident that I can help you, your child, or your loved one work towards their goals. My view is that mental health is just as important as physical health, so I will take your concerns seriously, and with empathy.
