Individuals seek out therapy with me for reasons ranging from panic attacks and existential dread, life transitions, disordered eating and identity exploration. In relationship/couples therapy, I help folks get unstuck from entrenched patterns, like trading blame or feeling unappreciated and misunderstood. Couples sometimes seek therapy with me to address co-parenting challenges, to explore questions around identity and sexuality, and to get help making big decisions. Sometimes folks aren't sure what they want, but they know their relationship isn't going the way either party hoped. Other times the goal is simply to stop fighting.
I have extensive training and experience in couples and relationship therapy, eating disorders, mood disorders and women's issues. Clients describe me as direct, laid back, and non-judgmental. I utilize a number of different theories and techniques in individual and couples therapy, but try above all else to relate to you human being to human being.
