Individuals who tend to seek treatment from me are often looking for a confidential space and accepting environment to look into and understand inner emotional life, relational patterns, and views of self and others. This process can allow opportunity to work through issues related to self worth, insecurities about yourself, attachment/ relational stress whether that be familial, romantic, friendship or work related. Feelings of self doubt, confusion, sadness, depression, anxiety, self esteem and early childhood trauma and attachment challenges that have been either life-long or situational can find healing.
My psychotherapy approach is informed from a relational, intersubjective, and contemporary psychoanalytic frame of reference. I value working together towards the development of a stronger authentic sense of self, increased confidence, having a voice to experience. Feeling seen, heard, understood, and known can be life changing and greatly transformative.
In addition to psychoanalysis, and general psychotherapy, I offer insight oriented mindfulness meditation practice as a means to feel more emotionally present and connected to your self /mind/ body, and more connected to your life in general, so as to strengthen living fully and in the present moment.
