Therapy is a commitment to self-care. In most areas of life, success or satisfaction often hinge on how effectively we understand and care for ourselves. I support those willing to lean into that inner work. This involves exploring obstacles preventing you from moving forward, in whatever realm. Therapy also helps improve self-compassion, which provides one with greater agency over life, and its challenges. Effective treatment strengthens self-awareness, and the ability to cope and adapt to the unexpected, or factors beyond your control - all key to decreasing suffering, improving efficacy, and enhancing self-worth and connection.
I am a generalist trained clinical psychologist who treats a wide range of issues. I also specialize in work with adults navigating varied life transitions, uncertainty, or trauma (in relationships, career, identity, or family for example); and marginalized populations (esp., sexual, gender, or racial minorities). Additionally, I have been trained in EMDR.
I am licensed in both PA and NY. While I am based primarily in Philadelphia, I currently provide HIPAA compliant remote only Tele-health therapy to both PA or NY residents who are seeking treatment. I also have PSYPACT qualifications so can offer Tele-health therapy to those in any of the PSYPACT participating states. See all 40+ states: www.psypact.org
