Life brings painful experiences that can keep us from becoming who we were intended to be. Whatever your pain, there is grace, comfort, and healing for you. I believe in the power of a safe, therapeutic relationship to heal, and to explore parts of ourselves that keep us from being intimately connected with ourselves and the people we love. Recently, I am witnessing an epidemic of family estrangement; political/religious disagreement are literally ripping families apart. I help clients navigate their way through this devastating experience, explore what is/isn't possible to heal, set necessary boundaries, and find peace.
While I use Attachment Theory to guide my work, I integrate other approaches as well, tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each client. Ultimately, I believe in the dignity of every human being. It is my deep privilege to help my clients discover and develop their unique selves, and flourish in their lives.
