I am interested in working with a diverse client base, however have a particular focus in working with young adults. I enjoy working with individuals who are in the process of self discovery as is common for young people who are learning about themselves and making important life decisions. Also, I have a passion for working with the LGBT (and questioning) community. Helping folks who are in the process of coming out and understanding their gender and sexual identities is an area I’ve specialized in.
I work from a psychodynamic approach to help individuals understand how what they have gone through in the past may be influencing their current thoughts and feelings. Additionally, I use a client centered approach to treatment, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and other modalities depending on what challenges a person is going through.
It is my belief that it takes strength and courage to reach out to a therapist for support. I am interested in working collaboratively so that you may better understand yourself and the challenges you are currently experiencing. You may reach out via email or phone to see if we’d be a good fit to work together. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
