My name is Julie Green and I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) working with clients across the state of New Jersey via telehealth. I use a strength-based approach to support children, adolescents, and young adults, helping them to achieve their goals. I use a personalized approach for each of my clients, helping them with anxiety, depression, sleep issues, low self-esteem, anger issues, ADHD, grief, trauma, stress, and family conflict. My clients are able to explore their issues with me in session and then learn concrete tools and coping skills to take with them.
I employ a variety of therapeutic approaches, often combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and expressive arts, tailoring them to each of my client’s unique needs and preferences. My holistic approach helps address a wide range of challenges in an engaging way, fostering personal growth and resilience.
I pride myself in being able to easily connect and build a relationship with my clients so they can feel safe to explore their problems and share their inner struggles. My communication style is warm, personable, direct, and non-judgmental. In this way, my clients gain valuable insights about their patterns and learn new tools to overcome their challenges.
