I'm known for a direct, intuitive and loving approach. Like the horses, I tell it like it is and I hold space for you to find contentment and growth. First session is information gathering, goal setting and education on what can provide you with some immediate relief from symptoms. We support that foundation each time we meet and go deeper emotionally to understand the "hows and whys" of what got you stuck. I may provide readings or other activities to do in between sessions so that therapy becomes a new habit for you. Horses help us by supporting our authenticity as we engage the new things we have learned.
My ranch is located 30-40 min from most major cities in MDTN. Because of this, my clients come to me for longer sessions (2-3 hours a sesh) on a bimonthly or monthly basis. This maximizes time with horses and provides a more intensive experience. I also have an office onsite to help clients using EMDR and then allow them time to process in the herd.
I am both gentle and direct and provide actionable items to help you uncover what's holding you back and also what you need to move forward in a new way. Each session is your opportunity to practice new thoughts and behaviors to find lasting change. We can hit the ground running and help you find relief.
