What I love about being a therapist is being able to see a client overcome the struggles that have held them back for so many years in life. With over 20 years experience my background includes extensive work with individuals affected by trauma, depression, anxiety and substance abuse. The most important part of therapy is the connection that you have with your therapist. I pride myself in my ability to connect with my clients in a warm and compassionate way. My style is interactive. Therapy is a collaboration and we work together to solve problems.
What I hope to be able to do for you is be your guide as we uncover solutions to obstacles that may be holding you back in life. Specialties include childhood and complex trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues including adolescents.
Whether your facing trouble in a relationship, issues with self esteem, or are struggling with healing from trauma, my person centered approach is tailored to meet your individualized needs. In addition to providing therapy, I also have my supervision certificate and provide clinical supervision to those are trying to obtain their LCSW or LPC.
