My name is Julie Dennis. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a therapist who helps clients look to the future with hope using insight and problem-solving within a Christian and faith-based perspective. My approach to therapy emphasizes Strengths-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment, to help my clients see the best in themselves, while navigating life stressors. I believe that traveling with my clients on their faith and life journey can create a resilient and hopeful worldview.
I have worked extensively with children, teens, and parents facing neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disorders, communication disorder), behavioral disorders, and school-related challenges (including 504 and IEP advocacy).
I communicate in a reflective style, seeking to understand my clients' perspectives, reflecting back on their strengths and challenges, while encouraging them to dig deeper to formulate new ideas and foster spiritual growth.
