Hi My name is Julie Clendenen. I have worked in the counseling profession for close to 30 years. As a clinician and a person, I believe that our behavior is based on our thoughts and feelings. I practice from a mostly Cognitive Behavioral orientation, incorporating our thoughts, feelings, motivations, beliefs, and behaviors into therapeutic intervention that help individuals, couples, and families make positive changes in their lives.
I specialize in individual and couples counseling. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, providing services that span from therapy for mood disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, career counseling, ADHD, behavioral issues, and grief counseling. I also have extensive doctoral training in neuroplasticity and brain health.
My treatment modality is tailored to each of my client's individual needs. It is my goal to help each individual attain the personal growth they are striving for. I believe it is important to look at the whole person and address all the mind, body, and spirit components.
