About
(December 2021 - Limited new in-person client slots available; T, W, Th during the day.) Life can be challenging and recent events like the Covid-19 Pandemic have increased stress for many in our community. Therapy can be an important support during times of uncertainty and change. I enjoy working with clients to increase awareness of their strengths and develop skills for coping with challenges. I welcome and have worked with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds, including clients from other countries and cultures, Black clients and other people of color and LGBTQ+ clients.
I offer individual therapy for adults struggling with problems like anxiety, depression, trauma or addictions. I have experience working with college students and am familiar with common challenges of young adulthood. I use a variety of interventions tailored to each client, including CBT, DBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, CPT & Mindful Awareness.
Therapy is a collaboration between client and therapist. Your job is to share your story and be open to learning new ways of doing or thinking about things. My job is to help you find meaning in your struggles and learn new skills to help you reach your goals. I hope you'll contact me to learn more or schedule a session.
