I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with substantial clinical and school-based experience who provides therapeutic treatment to children and adolescents (ages 6-19) experiencing personal challenges impacting their relationships, self-efficacy and overall daily functioning. My therapeutic approach is integrative in nature, incorporating a variety of modalities to help clients work through the issues they are currently struggling to overcome. I have experience addressing a range of topics in therapy including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, social skills, self-esteem, OCD and bereavement.
I create a warm, non-judgmental, child-friendly environment in which clients can feel comfortable identifying and processing their feelings, while confronting intimidating emotional realities that may serve as potential barriers to maximizing their overall functioning and wellbeing.
My strengths lie in the genuine connections I have been able to form with my clients. I believe that the unconditional positive regard a therapist reflects can help individuals overcome any impediment standing in their way of their happiness, acceptance and overall equanimity.
