My specialty is centered around those who are undergoing reproductive challenges including struggling to become pregnant, stay pregnant, or adjust post-pregnancy. Whether I'm working with an individual, couple, or a group, I continually seek out feedback as to how treatment is progressing for them. Therapy should be an effective collaborative effort. Additionally, I'm certified in EMDR which helps to alleviate what might be stuck in the body so that the mind can heal.
Reproductive health is a topic that can feel really isolating: experiencing these kinds of trauma, are still things that we shy away from. I assist people who have TFMR, are discerning whether the continue a pregnancy, or who are trying to figure out their fertility path.
We live in a culture that is so family focused, which can make us feel like a failure if this isn't something we can (or even want) to do. There is healing from your journey, with or without a baby at the end.
