Many people come to therapy with specific goals, while others are looking for support and compassionate understanding about life's challenges and a desire to make a change. Whatever you are hoping to explore, I will work with you to help identify your goals and support your personal growth. I have 20 years of experience working with children, adults and families using a strengths-based model to improve their life circumstances. I have psycho-dynamic training and use a variety of treatment modalities, (CBT, Mindfulness, Narrative therapy) to help understand and teach practical coping strategies for you to use in everyday life.
Much of my practice has focused on working with children and their families. My clients have ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning challenges, low self-esteem, and I provide resources for further growth and symptom reduction. In addition, I have worked with those dealing with grief, job loss, postpartum adjustment and various life transitions.
