Healing can come in various shapes and forms-and brings a complex mixture of change that can be dysregulating. With that change we can work together to map out a path that allows you stability and ability to regulate within it. All clients come from various lived experiences that develop into various symptoms. The space we create is one that allows you to feel comfortable and goes at the pace you feel most comfortable with.
I am a currently a Master of Clinical Counseling student at East Carolina University in my second year and achieving a certificate in Military and Civilian Trauma. I am under the supervision of Dr. Cheryl Meola and Jan Britt. The modalities I identify with are person-centered, narrative therapies, and Gestalt so that we can address the past and present.
I believe that our human nature desires a safe and welcoming environment through emphasizing our inherent strengths through a holistic manner that is culturally aware. From expressive arts to equine-assisted therapy, as a client, I encourage you to communicate your individual needs, so I can tailor my approach to fit what goals you have in counseling.
