I love to hear the stories of other people. Sometimes, our stories are painful, we may feel stuck, or need to make a change because the way it has been going is not working. Sometimes, we need to learn new narratives about ourselves, and stuffing our thoughts and emotions leave us feeling sad, depressed, anxious, afraid, or feeling physically ill. Other times, we need support as we navigate difficult situations (COVID-19) such as a health crisis, the death of a loved one, or working with relationships that challenge us. I currently work with teens, adults, couples, and families.
I work to foster a collaborative relationship where therapy is tailored to the client, and we work together to both identify the issues, and set goals. Moreover, I do not believe that there is a one size fits all approach to therapy and utilize various modalities in my work with clients.
