I specialize in working with people that have complicated medical issues that impact mental health. My background is in health psychology, neurocognitive issues, depression, OCD, LGBTQIA+ issues and aging well, and end of life. Though I also enjoy working with couples, and any other mental health issues. PTSD related to abuse is not my specialty.
I provide therapy for a wide range of issues impacting adults and seniors. My style is collaborative, empathic, and direct. I prefer Brief Solution Focused Therapy when it makes sense, but also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), Prolonged Exposure for Trauma (PE), and hypnosis.
Due to the current political climate, I am now back to stating that if you are backing tRUMP or any similar goonies/rhetoric that is not inclusive of kindness then we are NOT a good match. Please look elsewhere. Everyone else, I am happy to assist you, please reach out using an EMAIL address as it is easiest for me to get back to you sooner. Warmly
