Raising children and managing a family can pose many challenges. It is not unusual for children to face adversity during some point of their development. During difficult times, I work with children and families to address social, emotional, or developmental challenges. I use a combination of play and talk therapy to provide relief from painful emotional symptoms and foster growth and resilience. I guide and support parents by sorting through the many questions and decisions that arise when parenting a child with emotional difficulties. Together, we will find new ways of resolving conflicts.
Finding the right therapist for your child can be a daunting experience. It's imperative that your child's therapist has an expertise in treating children. I have spent over 20 years treating children and their families. My approach is collaborative. I work closely with parents, schools, and allied professionals.
