We act based on our beliefs, and sometimes who we believe we are, and what we believe we can achieve might not align with the future we wish to build around us. And sometimes, we might not be even aware that we have those misbelieves. As a psychotherapist with psychoanalytic background, I am trained to listen to my clients in a unique way. In my private practice, I provide individual and couples therapy for adults and young adults.
I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental and authentic therapeutic space, in which my clients can engage in self-exploration, improve their understanding of themselves and their relationships, and break out of harmful relationship patterns and develop new modes of thinking, feeling and relating to others.
I have worked with adults and children both in clinical settings and in their home environment. I held a lead supervisory position in a clinic, and I am still supervising eligible counselors towards their licensing. Today, I mostly treat depression, anxiety, trauma/grief, cross cultural issues, adjustment to college life, sexuality, relationship and parenting issues.
